Safridi Translation Services is a translation agency providing high quality translation services quickly and in a professional, reliable and friendly manner.
We have a network of associate professional and certified translators for the different language combinations who are specialised in many translation fields. Most of our associates are native speakers of the language they translate to with many years of experience and expertise.
Our aim is to provide translation services of top quality to our clients in Greece and abroad.
The agency has been founded by Eugenia Safridi, who is a professional, graduate, official and certified translator. She holds a BA with Distinction in German from the University of Central Lancashire, UK, a BA in Translation and Interpreting and a Master’s degree in Theory and Didactics of Translation and Interpreting, with English and German as working languages, both from the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting of the Ionian University, Greece. She is a member of PEEMPIP (Panhellenic Association of Professional Translators, Graduates of the Ionian University) the body of official translators, whose official and certified translations are accepted directly by Greek and foreign authorities. An Apostille is a certificate affixed on original public documents or on certified copies from the issuing authority and certifies the authenticity of the signature and the capacity in which the signatory of the document acted, so that the documents become valid and legalised for use in the countries that have signed the relevant convention.
You might need to do this if an official in the country that you are going to submit your documents has asked you to provide a foreign public document and they’ve said it must be legalised, so you need to make sure whether you need one by asking the competent authorities in the country you are submitting your document.
You can get an Apostille only from the country of origin that has issued your document, provided that this country has signed the Apostille Convention, and this has to be done before the document gets translated. So, before you send us your documents, please make sure that they bear an Apostille if required.
The list of all competent authorities for each country that has signed the Apostille Convention can be found in the Apostille Section of the Hague Conference website here: https://www.hcch.net/en/instruments/conventions/authorities1/?cid=41 and here:
